About us

The building was acquired in March 1920 and following some refurbishment it was opened on 24th November 1920.

The building has managed to survive floods and storms, a second world war and major road improvement schemes!!

Over the years there have been alterations to the building to improve the facilities for the members.

The membership includes service personnel, retired service personnel and civilians.The club is activeley seeking new members and welcomes non-servicemen alongside service personnel.

The Royal British Legion , The Royal Welsh Regiment as well as the Castle Players  hold their meetings at the club.

Facilities and Functions

We have a Function Room available for hire for private parties which can cater for up to 70 people. The function room is also available for Business Meetings and houses a large screen for projection.The room is also ideal for clubs,choirs, groups and  other associations

Bridgend United Service Club has a snooker room and library on site. We have our own Ladies and Mens Darts teams,Ladies Darts take place on a Tuesday evening and the Mens on a Wednesday evening.
